• Establish Mission First Culture of collaboration
• Build your relationships before building your job or starting your task, i.e.  The real foundation of the job is not in the job, it’s in the relationships.
• Trust is only built when people see the actions of the other party, i.e. “Trust but Verify”.
• Interests of the project are pursued over individual interests
• Embracing the paradigm of “Your problem is my problem, and my problem is your problem.”
• The real partnering / collaboration is what happens in between formal sessions
• Integrate Collaboration/Partnering into daily operations making it indistinguishable from daily operations.
• Teams will endeavor to help their counterparts achieve their individual interests.
